Christian Herold brings 30 years of maritime experience to BVI Yacht Sales, with a background in yacht brokerage, marina management, vessel inspections, and emergency response. A Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) and U.S. Coast Guard veteran, he has operated vessels up to 270’ and managed over $4 million in yacht sales.

Christian’s passion for boating started young, sailing a Force 5 before moving on to his grandfather’s Tiara and eventually joining the U.S. Coast Guard. His expertise lies in matching buyers with the right boat for their needs, not just their budget.

As a former marina manager in St. Croix, Christian knows nearly every boater on the island and maintains strong relationships with local marinas, yacht clubs, and service providers, giving his clients insider access to the best resources.

Beyond brokerage, he’s a dedicated diver, often found 60-140 feet underwater when not working. His favorite boat? A Hinckley, for its classic craftsmanship. His favorite Caribbean spot? St. Croix, where he’s called home for nearly a decade.
