S/V Dreamin' is a Salisbury, MD based 1995 Lagoon 37 TPI Jenneau For Sale By Owner. This owner is open to considering trades.
U.S.-documented vessel — no tariff required. Dreamin’ is a 1995 Lagoon 37 TPI Jeanneau catamaran, built in the Jeanneau/TPI joint production in Warren, Rhode Island to robust American production standards. Designed by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot-Prevost as a compact sibling to the Lagoon 42, the 37 combines efficient sailing characteristics with excellent interior and exterior living volume and a clean, modern aesthetic.
This boat has completed two Atlantic crossings and is currently rigged and ready to cross again. A recent survey found the vessel to be in good overall condition. Systems and finish on Dreamin’ rival equipment often found on boats costing two times the asking price; the electrical and water installations are engineered around extended autonomy, providing effectively unlimited electricity and abundant freshwater, including a rain-capture system integrated into the hardtop that can keep tanks replenished without running the watermaker.
Comfort and liveaboard capability are prioritized throughout. A full-weather enclosure around the cockpit allows comfortable sailing in a wide range of conditions. The cockpit cushions are generous and ideal for lounging (they are due for replacement). The helm is mounted inside the cockpit, sheltered from weather while providing a 360-degree view and social connectivity with guests; the custom helm seat accommodates two for extended watch periods. The forward trampoline is excellent for sunbathing and relaxation.
The salon is arranged for practical liveaboard use: a long straight settee allows for stretching out, napping, or watching navigation displays, which are easily visible from the primary seating area. Offshore alarms for storm, collision and AIS targets are installed so you can relax and enjoy offshore passages with additional safety monitoring. On the starboard side a built-in laundry is provided.
Below, three wide, safe steps lead to a full office area and access to two guest staterooms, the forward of which has an ensuite head and shower. The port side features a galley-down layout that is open to the salon, providing significantly more counter space than many galley-up arrangements — ample prep area for large meals. The owner’s head is notably spacious, with abundant hot water and a custom pantry capable of storing months of provisions. A large “basement” storage compartment extends beneath the entire cockpit and the port head grants convenient access to the port engine.
Engine maintenance is simplified by protected, climate-controlled access to the machinery, making routine work safer and dryer than engines exposed on sugar-scoop platforms; noise levels are comparable to those installations. The yacht has been extensively customized with additional storage cabinetry throughout to support full-time liveaboard use.
Construction notes: built with vinyl ester resin rather than polyester, the laminate is less prone to osmotic blisters and de-lamination — a construction standard not commonly found on contemporary production boats. That said, the vessel is not immune to age-related issues; there is evidence of deck leakage noted in the listing photos and should be inspected.
Owners are relocating overseas and are motivated to sell. Asking consideration: offers over $110,000 will be reviewed for a quick sale. Contact for more details, recent survey documentation, and to schedule an inspection.
