A family-tested catamaran on a Miami mooring ball, kitted out with Starlink, Garmin electronics and a few clever owner upgrades you won't find on the factory boat.
Filmed in June 2026 from a mooring ball at Dinner Key Marina in Miami, this walkthrough of S/V Cameo has the unmistakable feel of a boat that gets used. Broker Joe’s tour of the 2015 Leopard 48 skips the brochure language and instead points out the details that matter when there are guests, kids and gear aboard.
Living space built for a crowd
The saloon table is sized for eight to ten, and the owners report seating nine comfortably — useful context for anyone imagining family and friends piling on. Out on deck, wrap-around child netting has been added all the way around the boat, along with kid netting forward; three children have cruised aboard, and the safety setup reflects that.

Owner upgrades beyond the factory spec
Several additions go past what left the yard. A hatch has been cut into a large storage area that isn’t accessible on OEM boats, and a removable rainwater catchment tank supplies extra water for cleaning or foot washing. Paddleboards stow neatly on their sides against the hull, with additional hooks that also accept kayaks. Fishing reels are mounted on each side aft, with more seating back there, and small LED solar lights help identify the boat at night on a crowded mooring field.
Systems and helm
Solar panels appear repeatedly through the video, joined by a weather station, Starlink, radar, a swim ladder and an electric davit for hoisting the dinghy. The helm has been fully re-done with new Garmin electronics working together as one system, shaded under a cover to keep the sun off, with a power winch to hand. It’s a genuinely large helm station — three to five people have shared it — with steps leading up top.
