S/V MAITAI is a Lagoon 450 S owner’s version catamaran.

Deck Photos

Deck gear and trim were refreshed in 2025, including new shrouds, chainplates, windlass, deck hatches, cockpit cushions, and new autopilots at the helm.

Interior Photos

The interior shows Milano flooring and a saloon with three ottomans and elegant indirect lighting, alongside a Defy DAW392 washing machine (6 kg) installed in 2025 and a 12,000 BTU portable air-conditioning unit added in 2026. The galley is equipped with two 130-liter stainless steel refrigerators, a compact 12V freezer, a 220V microwave oven with grill, and an Electrolux Bridgeburner 4-burner gas cooktop.

Cabin Photos

Cabin features include blond oak woodwork, rear portholes in the aft cabins with curtains, leather storage compartments, and elegant indirect lighting. The owner’s cabin has a storage chest in place of the sofa and an additional ottoman at the desk, with fans fitted in the cabins.

There are Quiet Flush electric freshwater toilets in three cabins with efficient solenoid valves.

Mechanical and electrical systems include two 57 hp Yanmar 4JH57 SD60 engines with 6,000 hours, overhauled in Guadeloupe with new lower saildrive components and replaced upper-section moving parts and clutch discs, plus an overhauled GE Onan 11 KWA generator (heat exchanger replaced). Power and water systems were upgraded in 2025 with a 200-liter/hour 220V DESSALATOR water maker, Lithium Epoch 920 Amp (2x460 Ah) batteries with Victron components (DC charger, alternator charger, Victron Gerbo GX, Orion XS, BMV 712 battery monitor), 3 x 330 W solar panels with 3 x Mastervolt MPPT, and a Cristec 2000 W Inverter.
