{"id":88,"count":193,"description":"The Lagoon 400, designed by Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost, features exceptional living space on deck and in the cockpit.  She has a comfortable salon with a 360\u00b0 view.  The luminous cabins, thanks to large hull windows, make this catamaran model an optimal live aboard and long distance cruiser.\r\n\r\nThe 400 is built using Lagoon\u2019s tried and trusted method: : solid laminate below the waterline and balsa core above, including the decks. The hulls and decks are infused with polyester, and Lagoon adds vinylester resin to the hulls as an osmotic barrier.\r\n\r\nSailors won\u2019t be disappointed with the Lagoon 400, especially off the wind. Sure, there is a trade off for all of that living space, but you should comfortably achieve 7 knots and over in a breeze, even upwind. She tacks well if you boost the speed before coming through the wind. The genoa is easy enough to handle. In a breeze, she\u2019ll comfortably claw off a lee shore.\r\n\r\nThe running rigging is simple, all lines, sheets and halyards come back to the helm and all the work can be done on one of the helm winches. Raising and lowering the main and reefing works well from the helm.\r\n\r\nGetting about the boat feels safe, as the layout has been kept clean with wide flush decks with recessed hatches. The bow lockers will comfortably store all your lines, fenders,and sails, and they have a false floor giving you an additional lower section to store stuff.","link":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/brand\/lagoon-400\/","name":"Lagoon 400","slug":"lagoon-400","taxonomy":"brand","parent":72,"meta":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/brand\/88","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/brand"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/brand"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/brand\/72"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/reference?brand=88"},{"href":"https:\/\/www.yachtsite.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/yachts-for-sale?brand=88"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
